Overview
GSL Education are hiring a passionate Behaviour and Pastoral Lead to work in a school based in Dinnington, driving positive behaviour strategies and supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on behaviour management strategies and pastoral systems across the school.
* Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, or attendance concerns.
* Work collaboratively with SLT, teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Monitor behaviour data and implement targeted interventions as a Behaviour and Pastoral Lead.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to pupils to promote resilience and positive choices.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or safeguarding role within a school setting.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A calm, consistent, and solution‑focused approach.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusion practices.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
Additional Information
This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
