We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Relief Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the culinary arts and eager to contribute to a high-quality dining experience.
Must be available to work from Saturday 15th November to Sunday 23rd November 7am to 3:30pm

Job Role
1. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
2. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
3. Support kitchen staff by delivering supplies and ingredients as needed during service.
4. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
5. Help manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
6. Adhere to hygiene standards and food safety regulations at all times.
7. Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Your Skills and Experience
8. Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
9. Basic knowledge of food preparation and culinary processes.
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
11. A proactive attitude with a willingness to help team members as required.
12. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within the kitchen team.
13. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
