Job Title: CNC Turner Setter/Operator
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week basic, various shifts available
Contract type: 3 Month Contract
The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join a well-established and forward-thinking precision engineering company based in Sheffield. This opportunity involves working with advanced multi axis CNC machinery to produce high-quality components for globally recognised clients. It is an excellent role for an experienced CNC Setter.
What the role offers:

Excellent pay £25.00 - £30.00 per hour

Various shifts available:

2 shift pattern - Mornings & afternoons rotating weekly
*
3 shift pattern - Mornings, afternoons and nights rotating weekly
*
37 hours per week basic + overtime
*
3 month contract - potential to extend
Key Responsibilities:
*
Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality components for highly regulated, advanced manufacturing industries
*
Performing routine manual maintenance checks, including monitoring oil and coolant levels
*
Conducting visual inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet required standards
Essential Requirements:
*
Able to set and operate Turning Machines
*
Background working with metallic components, ideally within regulated sectors such as aerospace, oil & gas, or nuclear
*
Experience in machining high-performance materials such as Inconel
*
Confident performing multiple set ups per day
*
Ability to work to tight tolerances
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Strong work ethic with a flexible and adaptable approach
*
Positive attitude with the ability to integrate well into an established team
