About Our Client
The company is a well-established firm of chartered accountants, servicing a diverse range of businesses across the UK. They are a three partner firm and have a headcount of circa 30 staff.
Job Description
* Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
* Prepare and review tax returns and computations.
* Provide tax planning advice to clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Manage and mentor junior members of the team.
* Ensure all tax work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company procedures.
* Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
* Inheritance tax planning.
* Profit extraction tax calculations.
* Contribute to the development of the company's tax department and services.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Mixed Tax Manager' should have:
* Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (CTA, ACCA, ACA).
* Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a tax role.
* Strong technical knowledge of both corporate and personal tax.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
* Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
* A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What's on Offer
* An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
* Flexible working options (the client is happy to look at candidates seeking part-time and full-time hours).
