Applications are invited for the post of Consultant to join the Department of Stroke Medicine at our Trust. You will join an enthusiastic and experienced stroke specialist multidisciplinary team.
The Stroke Service admits approximately 800 patients with confirmed stroke each year. An out of hours thrombolysis service is provided in partnership with Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH). A high‑risk TIA service runs 5 days per week with dedicated same‑day carotid Doppler and MRI imaging to provide carotid endarterectomy within 48 hours as needed. At weekends the service is provided by NUH.
