An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the in-house tax function of a major international professional services organisation as a Partnership Tax Senior Manager.
This is a highly specialised role sitting at the heart of the partnership tax operation, supporting a complex and high-profile partner population across the UK and Ireland.
The successful individual will play a key role in overseeing partnership and partner tax compliance, managing critical reporting obligations, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, governance and client service.
The role
Working within a well-established Tax team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Oversight and review of partnership tax computations and partnership returns
2. Managing complex partner personal tax compliance matters
3. Review and management of P11Ds, PSA reporting and related tax obligations
4. Oversight of partner payment processes, including key January and July cycles
5. SOA notifications and wider tax reporting obligations
6. Supporting and maintaining robust UK tax governance policies and controls
7. Managing partner and partnership Irish tax compliance requirements
8. Reviewing tax computations and returns for associated entities and service companies
9. Supporting process improvement initiatives and tax technology enhancements
10. Line management and development of junior members of the Tax team
What they’re looking for
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone currently working:
11. In-house within another professional partnership, or
12. Within the partnership tax team of a Top 10 or Big 4 accountancy firm
The key requirement is solid experience in personal and partnership tax compliance. Candidates will preferably demonstrate wider experience across:
13. Partnership tax computations
14. Partner tax compliance
15. Personal tax reporting
16. P11Ds and PSA reporting
17. Managing large and complex compliance portfolios
18. Cross-border tax matters and double tax relief claims
19. Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is also highly desirable.
