Sales Administrator Location: Wickford, Essex Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Benefits: 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays, on site parking, pension Are you a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator looking to join a well-established and respected manufacturing company? We're seeking a confident and capable individual to support our dynamic sales team and help drive operational excellence. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our sales operations. From processing orders to maintaining customer relationships, your contribution will be vital to our continued success. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process sales orders using Sage, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Prepare and issue quotes and sales orders within agreed deadlines. Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, offering technical advice and resolving queries efficiently. Maintain up-to-date customer records and manage communications via email and phone. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, including inbox management, scheduling, and document handling. Monitor and analyse sales metrics using spreadsheets and CRM tools to support performance reporting.What We're Looking For: Experience in a sales administration or similar role Proficiency in Sage and CRM systems Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Excellent written and verbal communication A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude Solid understanding of sales processes and administrative record keepingIdeal Candidate: You're organised, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
