An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Kettering. This role sits within the finance team and offers a varied position supporting multiple areas of the business.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide financial and accounting support to the UK finance team as well as wider business areas. This is a varied position with the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts
2. Assisting with the year-end audit, providing documentation and responding to auditor queries
3. Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations
4. Managing VAT reporting
5. Supporting monthly and annual stock takes
6. Maintaining the fixed asset register
7. Financial analysis and reporting
8. Standard costing for equipment/products
9. Setting up and maintaining customer accounts
10. Sales invoicing for an overseas entity
11. Processing expense claims and company credit card statements
