This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Enfranchisement Solicitor or Legal Executive to work on enfranchisement and leasehold residential property matters with a focus on expanding the specialist leasehold team at the firm.
What you’ll do
When you join the team with Davisons Law as an Enfranchisement Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping leaseholders buy the freehold of their property or extend their lease. With at least five years' PQE gained working within the enfranchisement sector you will have an ability to actively market within this specialist area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing caseload of voluntary lease extension matters, LRHUDA 1993 collective enfranchisement and lease extensions, LRA 1967 enfranchisement and Right to Manage (RTM).
* Supporting the residential property team on more complex transactional areas including deeds of variation, advising on existing leases and licences to assign.
* Marketing the enfranchisement team including writing articles on upcoming leasehold reforms.
* Attending leasehold enfranchisement training and networking events.
* Liaising and developing professional relationships with enfranchisement valuers.
* Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
* Assisting with the practical aspects of enfranchisement, such as drafting notices on freeholders, serving notices, and reviewing participation agreements.
* Providing advice on resolving disputes that may arise during the enfranchisement process.
* Strong organisational and process-driven skills to manage the complexities of enfranchisement cases.
