As we grow, we are evolving our operating model to allow us to run our services more effectively! This role sits within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform team which is part of Central Services and Governors DGCIO. We are seeking a Lead Product Engineer specializing in Oracle Fusion SaaS to drive the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, ensuring seamless integration, customization, and performance enhancements of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP Financials, HCM, ERP Procurement). The ideal candidate will work closely with business partners, product managers, and functional teams to understand business processes, define roadmaps, and implement continuous improvements in an evergreen Oracle Cloud environment. They will be the Bank's ERP Financials techno-functional specialist in the design and configuration of Oracle Cloud applications and act as main interfaceface between the Business Product Owner(s) and our 3rd party application support team. We do not expect new joiners to have expert skills across all the technical areas we are looking towards, but we do want you to enjoy learning and will support you to fill technical gaps (through available relevant learning content, e.g. Oracle University). Responsibilities include: You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand enterprise processes and translate business needs into technical solutions. Configure Oracle Fusion applications (ERP Financials) to align with evolving business requirements. You will provide application technical support, solve system issues and optimize configurations for better performance. You will lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion SaaS applications, focussing on ERP Financials. You will shape the product roadmap, finding opportunities to adopt new Oracle Cloud features as part of an evergreen solution. You will architect and develop custom extensions, integrations, and configurations using Oracle PaaS and Fusion Middleware. You will take the lead in ensuring best practices for Oracle Fusion Cloud deployment, security, and performance optimization. You will work alongside colleagues in Technology and our 3 rd party supplier to ensure work is planned and delivering to the same goals, and bring the work of the teams together You will champion continuous delivery in software engineering through use of Dev/Ops practices and your industry knowledge. Role Requirements Minimum Criteria Demonstrable experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP Financials, HCM and/or ERP Procurement) in similar product lead roles. Strong IT consulting and support background (ITIL, working knowledge of SDLC and of IT infrastructure like server and database management) as well as in depth business processes experience. Solid understanding of business processes in Finance. Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle PaaS, and Fusion Middleware. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Oracle ADF. Experience with BIP, OTBI, FBDI, HDL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). Experience in configuring Oracle Fusion applications and supporting an evergreen SaaS model. Essential Criteria Ability to work with stakeholders to drive process improvements and adopt new Oracle Cloud features. Capability to document and communicate functional changes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrable ability to lead functional and/or technical teams and projects in an Agile environment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive problem-solving attitude. Superb communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Criteria Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation Specialist). Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for Oracle Cloud. Knowledge of AI/ML and automation tools within Oracle Cloud. Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Knowledge of other financial systems or ERP platforms Experience working with Oracle Fusion implementations for Public Sector organizations. Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. We offer a salary as follows: Leeds circa £72,320 - £81,360 In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/65th) or decrease (to 1/105th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year.
