* Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments using recognised diagnostic frameworks like DSM-5 or ICD-11.
* Gather developmental, social, family, and educational histories essential for accurate assessment.
* Utilise standardised tools such as Conners, SNAP, and structured interviews to support diagnostic processes.
* Contribute professional opinions to diagnostic decisions within MDT panels, ensuring each assessment is thorough.
* Assess the impact of ADHD on daily functioning, and identify any safeguarding concerns.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals.
* Provide clear post-diagnostic recommendations and support plans tailored to individual needs.
* Apply safeguarding procedures and work within relevant legislation to ensure patient safety.
