Job Opportunity: Crash Lab High Speed Camera and CMM/FARO Technician
We are recruiting for a Crash Lab High Speed Camera and Co-ordinate Measurement Machine (CMM/FARO) technician to join a dynamic, highly skilled, and expanding team at an exciting time for the Crash Laboratory. The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, keen, and hard-working individual with a passion for vehicles and crash testing.
The role involves working with a world-class team of technicians to set up high-speed cameras and take 3D CMM measurements of vehicles and ATD positions for crash tests, as well as leading by example. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. The candidate must be capable of working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, multitasking, and adapting to customer and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare vehicles for crash testing by fitting onboard high-speed cameras and taking 3D coordinate measurements using a CMM/FARO arm.
2. Set up and operate high-speed onboard and offboard cameras.
3. Perform static 3D measurements of ATDs and vehicle structures.
4. Manage crash test data and test execution in these areas.
5. Capture digital still images.

This is a 39-hour per week position with the following schedule:
* Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45 with a 45-minute lunch.
* Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 with a 45-minute lunch.
There may be a requirement to work some shifts to meet customer and business needs.
