SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) – 1:1 Support
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Full time, ongoing
Salary: £85 – £100 per day

As an SEN TA, you will be a key member of the classroom team, ensuring students receive support that assists them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to students with additional needs
2. Supporting teachers with creative lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and engaging displays
3. Building trusting, nurturing relationships with students to encourage independence and confidence
4. Acting as a positive role model while fostering a safe and inclusive environment

Requirements:
10. Qualified Teaching Assistant OR relevant SEN background
11. Experience or training with PECS, Makaton, ASD, SLD, and complex needs
12. Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate
13. Recent school-based references
14. Valid photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
15. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
