Depot Manager Turners (Soham) Ltd is one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK and an opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Depot Manager to lead our Grangemouth operation. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for all aspects of depot performance, compliance, and customer service. The successful candidate will have experience in a depot management role and hold a valid international CPC qualification. As Depot Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the depot, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service delivery. The role requires a self-motivated individual who will be required to cover the planning for the depot. Effective management of resources and ensuring optimal utilisation. Responsibility for all aspects of administration, including wages and POD’s (Working with 1 other person in office) Strong management skills and good interpersonal skills, a thoroughness to ensure compliance schedules are met and a dedication to provide total customer satisfaction is crucial to the role to ensure the very highest standards are maintained. The individual will be required to cover “Out Of Hours” on call. Experience of managing customer relationships and expectations. A good understanding of drivers hours and all aspects of compliance Able to work under pressure and enjoy problem solving Experience within fuel tanker transport would be advantageous, though not essential.
