Our client, a reputable organisation within the education sector, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team in Northwich, Crewe, and Winsford. This full-time, permanent role involves providing focused support to learners in a 16-19 study programme. Key Responsibilities: Providing one-to-one support to learners, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in classroom activities Working closely with the tutor to develop and implement effective learning strategies Supporting learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their needs are met Assisting in the creation of an inclusive and supportive learning environment Collaborating with local authorities to identify and engage young people eligible for work placements Building and maintaining relationships with local employers to secure and develop work experience opportunities Providing reports and updates on the success of work placements and engagement efforts to management Ensuring that all learners experience a high-quality learning programme Job Requirements: Experience in health and social care, particularly in an educational setting Training experience, ideally with young adults aged 16-19 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build effective relationships with both adults and young people Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs ...
