About the Role
The role involves managing the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with costs, service levels, health and safety regulations, and company policies. The job holder will oversee the warehouse shift, support the Warehouse Operations Manager, and ensure KPIs related to people, safety, and efficiency are met.
Key Accountabilities
1. Manage labour utilization and adjust plans to ensure effective task coverage.
2. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy for all inbound and outbound goods.
3. Collaborate with the stock investigation team to resolve variances and implement corrective actions.
4. Achieve quality and productivity targets within the department and depot.
5. Conduct and complete warehouse and health & safety audits, and implement necessary corrective actions.
6. Ensure compliance with quality standards and legal documentation.
7. Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures to meet customer and company requirements.
8. Implement changes to meet customer needs effectively.
9. Ensure the warehouse is operationally ready, safe, and clean for shift handover.
About You
1. Experience in management roles within fast-paced environments such as FMCG or logistics.
2. Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate teams.
