Assistant Accountant | Liverpool | £30,000 + Study Support
Are you currently studying AAT, CIMA, or ACCA and looking for your next move within a dynamic finance team? We're working with a well-established, environmentally focused business within the renewable energy and sustainability sector that is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their Liverpool-based operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any trainee accountants with a couple of years experience who are keen to develop their skills in a growing business.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts with KPIs and supporting analysis.
* Completing variance analysis vs budgets and prior periods.
* Preparing reconciliations including bank, cash, and balance sheet.
* Producing accruals, prepayments, payroll analysis, and associated journals.
* Supporting with annual budgets, forecasts, internal audits, and year-end processes.
* Providing supporting information for taxation computations.
* Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Who we're looking for:
1. Studying towards either AAT, CIMA or ACCA
