Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
* Basic soldering, crimping, and cable preparation
* Wiring control panels and electrical enclosures
* Safe use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
* Working to IPC standards and quality procedures
Equipment & Processes
* Pick‑and‑place machines
* Hand soldering, reflow ovens, and wave soldering machines
* Stencil printers
* Automated optical inspection systems
* X‑ray inspection machines
* In‑circuit testers
Manufacturing Methods
* Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
* Plated Through‑Hole (PTH)
* Hybrid assembly
Ideal Candidate
* School leavers or college graduates
* Individuals looking to retrain into a technical career
* Candidates with hands‑on hobbies such as robotics, electronics, or DIY
Qualifications & Experience
* Genuine interest in electronics or electrical engineering
* Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Basic understanding of electrical components (preferred but not essential)
* GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, Science, or Technology subjects (preferred)
