The opportunity:
* Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement data integration and modelling solutions
* Work on real-world data engineering problems from day one to enhance data quality, accuracy, and accessibility
* Utilise cloud technologies to optimise data processing and analysis
* Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines and workflows
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics processes and tools

You are:
* Curious, analytical, and eager to learn new technologies
* Comfortable working with data, logic, and patterns
* A clear communicator with a collaborative approach
* Proficient in SQL, including writing and optimising queries and stored procedures
* Familiar with AWS Redshift and PostgreSQL or similar OLAP and OLTP databases
* Experienced with Python, especially for AWS Lambda development
* Have an awareness of event-driven architectures, e.g., AWS EventBridge
And even better if your job or internship provided you with exposure to:
* AWS services
* AWS Step Functions or similar state machine-based orchestration tools
* Git or other version control tools
* DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
* Data modelling and ETL/ELT pipelines
* A general understanding of data governance and data quality
Degree preferred. A 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering
