Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Location: Ipswich / Suffolk (Projects across Cambridge, Basildon, Norwich and surrounding areas) Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP The Role We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor delivering new-build projects across multiple sectors. This role suits someone technically strong who is ready to take ownership of projects and develop into a more senior position over time. You will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Project Sectors Commercial Education Healthcare (including hospitals) Leisure Industrial Residential / Accommodation Power & infrastructure-related projects Key Responsibilities Manage mechanical works on new-build projects from start to finish Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Oversee programme delivery and ensure milestones are met Manage quality control and commissioning of mechanical systems Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams Monitor costs and assist with variations and commercial control Report project progress to senior management Candidate Profile This is not a senior-level role.
