Salary: £25,500 (pro rata)

This exciting 8-week paid placement offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of BBC Radio 1. You'll gain hands-on experience working across our shows and departments, all based at our HQ in Central London.
Role Responsibility
You'll rotate through different teams, take part in creative meetings, and support production before and during live shows. This is a great opportunity to get a full view of how a national radio station operates.
You'll be assigned a mentor who will meet with you weekly to support your development and future plans. As we're a 24/7 station, working hours may vary and include evenings or weekends. We'll do our best to accommodate personal circumstances when planning your schedule.

What You Don't Need
You don't need formal qualifications or previous experience in radio. We're looking for creativity, imagination, and a genuine passion for media and production.
Essential Requirements
• You must be at the beginning of your career journey (this placement is not for those with previous paid BBC experience).
• You must have the legal right to work full-time in the UK.
• You must be 18 or older by the start date.
• You must be available to work in London for the full 8-week placement.
