Role Overview
Leaf HOSPITALITY is launching a brand‑new Hampton by Hilton hotel in Wigan, opening late 2027. The new 40‑room property will create up to 40 jobs and bring significant investment into the community. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of the hotel operations.
Responsibilities
* Lead daily operations and ensure the highest standards of service and quality.
* Develop and coach the entire hotel team, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Oversee commercial performance, driving revenue and controlling costs.
* Manage pre‑opening activities, ensuring the hotel launches on schedule and to budget.
* Maintain health and safety compliance and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4+ years of hotel management experience, preferably at Hilton or a branded hotel.
* Strong background in room division and commercial awareness.
* Proven project management skills, with pre‑opening experience required.
* Excellent team leadership, stakeholder communication and ambassadorial presence.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and financial reporting.
