Job Summary As an Intern – 6G Research, you will join our 6G research team. The team develops innovative solutions, algorithms and protocols addressing the challenges of future wireless systems. While the ultimate goal is to develop solutions that are relevant to standardization within 3GPP RAN, SA, or CT, the team also explores promising technologies with longer-term potential. Within this internship, the objective is to explore and analyze new use cases and technology trends to identify their feasibility and applicability to relevant standardization groups and for developing early assessment of these technologies. The intern may explore potential solution areas, and demonstrate principles of the solutions through implementations, tests and evaluations, both analytical and with simulations. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze technological trends to align internal innovation efforts. Study the state-of-the-art on emerging technologies in next generation mobile networks. Identify potential innovation areas and propose new solutions. Evaluate solutions to assess their potential. Present solutions in publications, with intellectual property development when applicable. Qualifications Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical fields. Experience in research or innovation, including published research papers or patents in telecommunications. Experience with simulation development (MATLAB and/or Python). Experience with Nvidia’s CUDA platform and/or AI model training and inference is a strong plus. Exceptional communication skills with English language fluency.
