About the Role
You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that may challenge.
Your role will focus on teaching and encouraging new life skills, supporting individuals to access their community, promoting independence and confidence, and helping people work towards their personal goals. We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity and fresh ideas into activities and support planning.
This role requires someone who can think on their feet, remain calm under pressure, and approach challenges with positivity, empathy and resilience.
The position is full time, working either 8:30am–4:00pm or 9:00am–4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays to support our Saturday Brunch Club.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who have experience in the care sector, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism. You should be naturally caring, ethical and compassionate, while also bringing energy, humour and warmth to your work.
You’ll need to adapt confidently to changing situations, work well as part of a close-knit team, and share our strong family values. Due to the needs of the individuals we support, prior experience in similar settings is highly desirable.
A full UK driving licence with business insurance is essential.
