Job Summary
Bradford Council’s Stronger Communities & Regulatory Services team is looking for a Neighbourhood Warden. You’ll be given your own area to look after, where you’ll get to know local residents and community groups. By building these relationships, you’ll understand what support people need and how best to help them.
You’ll also work with the Neighbourhood Connect Project, visiting people, offering support, and helping them access local services. No previous experience is needed full training and development opportunities will be provided.
We would also like to hear from people fluent in Eastern European or Asian languages.
This role is based across Bradford South district.

Main Responsibilities
• Support residents in organising community events like fun days.
• Work with Youth Services on initiatives such as running a food bank.
• Deliver educational activities to help reduce air pollution around schools.
• Encourage positive behaviour change by motivating residents to take pride in their local area.
• Promote and support community clean-ups, school eco-projects, and everyday conversations that inspire environmental responsibility.
