MS628 - Welding Equipment Service Engineer Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Welding Equipment Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, repairing and maintenance of boilers, plate packs, and pumps. Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00, Monday - Friday. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair welding and cutting equipment, including MIG & TIG. Carry out routine servicing, testing, and electrical safety checks on customer and hire equipment. Support customers with technical issues, offering professional advice and practical solutions. Maintain accurate service and repair records in line with company procedures. Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. Assist with workshop organisation, stock control, and general maintenance duties. Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to support customer requirements and product demonstrations. Skills and Qualifications: Full UK Driving Licence. Experience repairing or maintaining welding machines, torches, or related equipment. Proven electrical and maintenance experience (industrial or workshop-based). Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
