Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to be partnering with a leading specialist education provider in the South West who has a college for children and young people (16 - 25) with autism spectrum disorders, complex learning disabilities, behavioural, and mental health issues.
This newly-created role offers the opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to make a significant, measurable contribution to the care and education of these vulnerable young people alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
* Provide triage, interventions, caseload management, and contribute to reviews and team meetings
* Support students’ mental health care alongside MDT members
* Support and guide care and education team in delivering person-centred care
* Develop and implement care plans reflecting each student’s EHCP and complex needs
* Support service delivery through training, consultation, and collaborative practice
Candidate Requirements:
* NMC (RMN or RNLD) or HCPC registration
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CAMHS community/inpatient, or specialist education
* Collaborative, person-centred, passionate, flexible, and able to work autonomously
* Working with autism spectrum disorder or challenging behaviours (desirable)
