Salary: Band F NJC SCP 7 - £25,584 per annum (Actual Salary: subject to pro rata)
Hours: 13 hours per week (6.5 hours a day, 2 days a week)
Working pattern: Term Time Only – 39 weeks
Contract type: Fixed Term until 20th July 2026
Contract End Date: 20th July 2026
Reason for Fixed Term: 1:1 pupil support with EHCP

The Ferncumbe C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join its team.
Responsibilities
* Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis in the classroom.
* Supporting small groups in activities planned by the class teacher.
* Contributing to the school’s safeguarding duties and promotion of welfare of children.
Your qualities
* Highly motivated
* Calm
* Patient
* Able to adapt quickly to different situations
* Relevant experience and qualifications such as NVQ level 2 are essential
* Previous experience of supporting children with SEND would be an advantage
