Mencap is seeking Female Support Workers to join our team in Ruthin, Denbighshire on a part-time basis.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support, playing a vital role in their lives. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
* Full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own car.
Contract options:
Part-time (30 hours)
Most of our services provide 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
There is also a non-contractual sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
