Internal Sales Consultant - Telesales Team (Office-Based)
1. Location: Erith, Kent
2. Salary: £24,531 Basic + £33,600 OTE
3. Hours: 7.5 hours per day between 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday
Perfect Placement Automotive Recruitment Consultancy is currently working on behalf of a industry leading automotive components supplier to recruit an Internal Sales Consultant for their dynamic Telesales Team based in Erith, Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a well-established automotive business. As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving sales growth within an assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through account management and new business development.
Key Responsibilities as a Telesales Consultant:
4. Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers in line with daily targets.
5. Achieve individual and team sales goals through effective persuasion and negotiation.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
7. Actively sell and upsell products and services to maximise revenue.
8. Reactivate dormant accounts and secure new business opportunities.
9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, escalating where necessary.
10. Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
11. Stay up to date with company products, promotions, and industry trends.
12. Implement the company’s multichannel sales strategy.
13. Work collaboratively with the team to develop and improve sales strategies.
Additional Responsibilities
14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
15. Complete E-learning modules as required.
16. Assist in training new employees.
17. Support marketing and promotional events.
18. Take part in special projects and initiatives as needed.
19. Participate in ride-alongs with managers or colleagues to enhance sales techniques.

20. Proven sales experience and/or industry experience.
21. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to meet sales targets.
22. A clear and confident telephone manner with excellent listening skills.
23. A customer-focused mindset with a proactive attitude.
24. Strong time management and organisational skills.
25. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Desirable:
26. Experience in telesales, sales, or customer service (preferred).
27. Familiarity with automotive components (training provided).
28. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
29. Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
30. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
