Workplace Doctors is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Advisors in West Sussex. Our client provides effective service and advice on work-related issues and health surveillance programmes.

It is suitable for a qualified individual with management experience to further expand their skills and expertise, playing a crucial role in providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care our clients receive.
The role has overall responsibility for the small onsite team comprising OHN, OHA, Physio, and OHT.
This is a full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with some cover occasionally until 6:00 pm.
Role Details
Occupational Health Advisor with Government / Local Authority experience to work at their site in West Sussex. Our client is interested in applications from experienced OHAs with an OH qualification and broad experience in all aspects of OHA practice, particularly sickness absence and wellbeing. A UK driving licence and own car are required.
The role involves 60% case management and 40% wellbeing. It is a newly created role, so you will be tasked with setting up a brand-new wellbeing programme for the business. You need to be a dynamic worker capable of managing both aspects of the role.
Main Duties (Guideline)
* Ensure compliance with Department of Health, H&S, and other guidelines/legislation
* Advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team
* Assess, plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate programmes of care
* Work with divisional directors/managers to implement company objectives
* Recognise development needs of junior or less experienced staff, take appropriate action, and monitor training plans
* Explore and develop further OH business opportunities

Essential Requirements
* NMC Registration Essential (Nursing & Midwifery Council)

* Experience in a multi-disciplinary team
* Professional awareness and ongoing professional development
* Good knowledge of clinical conditions
