Job Description
We are looking for compassionate, motivated, and resilient Support Workers to join a supported housing team. You will work with vulnerable adults including individuals experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges, young people and victims of domestic abuse.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to build independence, improve wellbeing, and move towards stable and positive futures.Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs
* Support residents with independent living skills, budgeting, appointments, and daily routines
* Build positive professional relationships and promote engagement with support services
* Carry out support plans, risk assessments, and wellbeing checks
* Encourage residents to achieve personal goals and maintain tenancy agreements
* Work collaboratively with external agencies including mental health services, probation, social services, and substance misuse teams
* Maintain accurate records and case notes
* Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times
About You
* Experience working in supported accommodation services, providing support to vulnerable adults or young people is essential.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic IT and report writing skills
* A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve positive outcomes
* Holds an enhanced DBS and a UK driving licence with access to a car.
