Technical Support Specialist - Fire & Security

The Role
As the Technical Support Specialist, you will be the bridge between the customer, the field engineers, and the sales team. You’ll be the go-to person when things get complex.
* Expert Troubleshooting: Provide remote diagnostics and support to customers and field engineers to resolve system issues.
* Bridge the Gap: Assist the sales team by ensuring they have the correct technical data and specifications for new and existing accounts.
* The Paperwork Pro: Maintain meticulous records. Accuracy is everything here—you’ll ensure every ticket and technical log is updated and precise.
* Internal Consultant: Act as the internal authority on the product range, ensuring the business stays technically sharp.
What You’ll Need
To hit the ground running, you must have a solid foundation in the security industry:
* Security Alarms: Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience are essential.
* Access Control & CCTV: Proven experience installing or maintaining these systems.
* Fire Alarms: Ideally, you’ll have experience here too, though we can work with you if you're an expert in the other three.
* Communication Skills: You need to be able to explain complex technical fixes over the phone to both end-users and engineers.
* The "Details" Mindset: You take pride in organized paperwork and accurate data entry.
Rewards
* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
* Hours: Standard 40-hour week
