IP Disputes Associate – Nottingham

The role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a growing Intellectual Property Disputes team. The successful candidate will take on a leading role in complex, high-value IP litigation, working with a diverse client base that includes established corporates, fast-growth businesses and innovators. This role offers exposure to multi-jurisdictional matters, the chance to mentor junior colleagues and the ability to contribute to the strategic development of the team.

Key responsibilities


* Leading and managing complex IP litigation matters, including patent infringement, trade mark disputes and copyright claims
* Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies, including mediation and arbitration
* Handling urgent interim relief applications and multi-jurisdictional enforcement actions
* Conducting IP due diligence in corporate and commercial transactions
* Providing strategic advice on IP portfolio management and online enforcement of rights
* Supporting the professional development of junior team members


About You:


* Qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience in IP litigation and dispute resolution
* Strong technical knowledge of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on contentious matters
* Experience handling complex disputes, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements
* Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively and provide commercially focused advice
* Track record of mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
