The Company
NEOS are working with a well-established and growing plant hire business supplying a wide range of machinery to construction, infrastructure and industrial projects across the UK. With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Workshop Engineer.
The Role
This is a workshop-based position responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy plant and equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is prepared, maintained and returned to site in excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair a wide range of plant equipment
* Diagnose and fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues
* Carry out PDI's and inspections on equipment
* Prepare machines for hire and ensure they meet safety standards
* Complete job sheets and service records accurately
* Work closely with the hire desk and operations team
Equipment You May Work On
* Excavators
* Dumpers
* Rollers
* Telehandlers
* Small tools & ancillary equipment
What We're Looking For
* Experience working as a Plant Engineer / Workshop Engineer
* Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
* Basic electrical fault finding skills
* Experience within plant xxuwjjq hire, construction or similar environments
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
* Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
