Join the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts as a PEAT+ Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to support the restoration of peatlands across Northern Ireland and border counties. This fixed‑term, full‑time role will be based in Belfast.
Responsibilities
 * Design and develop the overall monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for the PEAT+ project.
 * Consult with project partners to finalise monitoring protocols and deliver training.
 * Collect, collate and analyse data from all partners to track progress against key outcomes.
 * Prepare quarterly reports and impact summaries for funders and stakeholders.
Qualifications
 * Experience in project monitoring, evaluation, data analysis and reporting.
 * Proficiency in data collection tools, statistical software and M&E methodologies.
 * Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
 * Knowledge of project management and impact assessment principles.
 * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse partners.
 * Effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
 * Experience in partnership and stakeholder coordination.
 * Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
 * Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technologies (e.g. AI‑based tools).
Other Details
Contract type: Fixed term – until 30 June 2029 (part‑time hours of 30 hours per week may be considered). Salary: £28,693 to £30,933. Access to employer contributory pension scheme – maximum 10% per annum. Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland.
