Offer description

A vacancy has arisen within the Property Partnerships and Innovation team for two full time permanent Quality and Improvement Officers. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will be responsible for maintaining the Corporate Property and Land (CPaL) Quality Management System (QMS), including undertaking internal audits and ensuring effective processes, procedures and document control. Assisting the Property Innovation Manager on selected projects that improve CPaL’s business and financial processes, you will also work with service managers to develop and produce performance reporting tools to drive improvements. Evidence of working in a quality management, internal audit, or project management focussed role, ideally in a building maintenance, construction and/or facilities management environment and involvement in document control processes is essential. You will need to have an understanding of Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001, commercial awareness and understand the role of performance management in service delivery. Successful problem solving along with the ability to consult and negotiate with customers and end users, an ability to present information verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences and negotiation skills are essential requirements of this role. You will need a relevant auditing, quality management and/or project management qualification equivalent to at least NVQ level 3. You must have experience of working in a busy office environment, working to deadlines and have an understanding of Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001, commercial awareness and understand the role of performance management in service delivery.
