As a MOT Tester, your work is an integral part of maintaining our extensive and diverse fleet keeping essential services moving including, Highways, street lighting, Travel care and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service. Your timely and cost-effective repairs will keep Lancashire's front-line services operating efficiently, ensuring our communities remain safe and connected. What you'll be doing: Conducting inspections and MOT test on a wide variety of vehicles ensuring our fleet remains safe and compliant at all times. Writing detailed reports and MOT certificates based on your evaluation. Carrying out Class 4, 5 & 7 MOT testing. We will support you to achieve the Class 5 qualification if you do not hold the certificate. What we're looking for: You'll hold a Level 2 MOT Testing Award in Class 4 and 7 vehicles (group B). A NVQ qualification vehicle maintenance would also support you in this role. You'll have relevant & recent experience in carrying out MOT tests. You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to mentor apprentices and junior team members in the team. We have opportunities to join our Fleet Team at our Bamber Bridge and Burnley depots.
