Role: Expeditor - Supply Chain / Procurement Support Location: Rugby (on-site) Duration: 6 months initially Rate: Up to £25 per hour PAYE (26 days holiday per annum + bank holidays) The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are delivered on time in accordance with project requirements. The role focuses on actively managing and communicating with suppliers to expedite open orders, resolve delays, and maintain supply chain performance in line with Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets. Monitor order status, identify potential schedule risks, and take corrective action to maintain on-time delivery. Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier issues affecting delivery performance. Maintain accurate records of order status, delivery commitments, and supplier responses. Support the management of claims, vendor recovery, and performance improvement initiatives. Provide timely updates and reports on supplier delivery performance to internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, acting as the key point of contact for expediting activities.
