Elevate Equipment Excellence as Our Newest Yard Operative! We require a Yard Operative for ourMallusk depot to help maintain the yard, check machines thoroughly and assist both customers and delivery personnel with the loading and unloading of equipment.
What You'll Do
* Carry out thorough inspections and cleaning of hire equipment effectively.
* Carry out full function and safety testing.
* Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area.
* Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary (full training will be provided).
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
What You'll Need
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good problem-solving skills and complete tasks thoroughly.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience in the operation of forklift trucks and/or scissor and boom lifts would be advantageous.
* Driving experience.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:30am -5:00pm, Friday 7:30am -4:00pm
41.5 hours per week plus 1 Saturday in 3 from 7:45am - 12:30pm
Location: 11 Mallusk Drive, Newtownabbey, Belfast, Co. Antrim BT36 4GX
Salary: £12.75 per hour DOE
