About our Parish and Church
Set within a welcoming and active village our church seeks a new Priest in Charge with vision, warmth and a deep love for community life.
Shoreham village is a 15 minute drive to the north of Sevenoaks, sitting amid glorious countryside in the heart of the Darent Valley. Good transport links to London and the coast and easy access to the M25.
The church of St Peter and St Paul is grade 1 listed in an exceptionally attractive setting in one of the village's two conservation areas. The nave is a large open space, flexible for worship, concerts, plays, and events for young people. An extensive new heating system was installed in 2024; the Church extension provides a hospitality area, meeting space and toilets.
A small but growing church, committed to the needs of the young and their families with a highly successful "Stay and Play" group for toddlers and their parents led by the Children and Families worker.
Vicarage:
A modern and well cared for vicarage built in 1960s comprising four bedrooms, study, garage and garden. Currently undergoing rewiring.
