Role/Department:
Regulatory guidelines for financial institutions have increased the requirements and responsibilities associated with outsourcing services to affiliates and third parties. The Intercompany Arrangement (ICA) Program Specialist, who reports to the Head of Service Governance Office, will be responsible for ensuring that all frameworks, standards and guidelines associated with ICAs are fit for purpose and meet regulatory guidelines. The Program Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring sustainability for the intercompany program lifecycle areas.
This role will interact with executive teams across business units and legal entities globally to assist with implementation of processes while overseeing sustainability of the program. The role will involve continuous program evolution and design, as well as, overseeing collaboration across multiple locations and business units / functions to ensure risk management obligations are clarified and met. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Intercompany Third-Party Risk Management, this experienced professional will be required to attend, lead, and advise executives at governance, board, or regulatory forums. The role will also be required to partner with peer Third Party Risk Management Leaders to ensure end to end alignment with the wider program. Additionally, the role necessitates collaboration with peer Third-Party Risk Management Leaders to ensure comprehensive alignment with the broader program.
The key responsibilities of the role include:

* Responsible for design and implementation of enterprise-wide third-party risk management intercompany processes and systems; and managing through sustainability and maturity.
* Responsible for designing and periodically reviewing program related artifacts, risk methodologies, service categories and associated risk profile, reporting thresholds.
* Enhancements of program documentation including development, periodic review, version control and organized storage for various program documents including training materials, desk procedures
* Required to attend, lead &/or advise executives at governance, board or regulatory forums.
* Ensures the program provides the flexibility and adaptability to support all jurisdictions and local regulatory requirements
* Monitor regulatory ICA updates and partner with peer groups to assess the impact of changes Responsible for managing, designing, and enhancing program activities
* Establish SME status for ICA Third Party Risk Management at an enterprise level
* Able to take on delegated responsibilities from the Head of Service Governance
* As an individual contributor, able to identify, lead and direct multiple resources to meet the needs of the program

* Leadership and organizational skills to direct the activities for the multiple business units

* Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
* Strong organizational skills, a collaborative approach to work, with strong interpersonal skills
* Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to generate complex reports
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change in a high demand environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as data analytic tools including Power BI
