We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and versatile Teaching, Learning, and Student Experience Coordinator (Student Support and Wellbeing) to join our dedicated Student Support and Wellbeing team in the School of Engineering. This two-year full-time role involves 35 hours per week.
You will possess the ability to inspire and motivate a team while demonstrating a solid understanding of academic and pastoral support procedures related to postgraduate taught and undergraduate education.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our students whilst fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, such as academics, the Mental Health Support Team, Advice and Response, and Disability Advice and Support Service. Your collaborative efforts will be crucial in ensuring a holistic approach to student wellbeing. The Student Support and Wellbeing team provides front-line welfare and pastoral care, and oversees the operational management of mitigating circumstances, change of circumstances, and attendance and engagement monitoring. Prior experience in supporting student wellbeing is essential.
This role offers a hybrid working option. However, please note that as a student-facing position, you will be required to work on campus for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the possibility of additional on-site days as dictated by business needs.
