JS Refrigeration Services is a small, close-knit company operating throughout the South East. Due to increased workload, we are looking at recruiting an experienced refrigeration engineer on a permanent basis.
Role Overview
This is a full‑time role for a Refrigeration Engineer at JS Refrigeration Services Ltd. The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of refrigeration systems across the South East, ranging from small ice machines to large process chillers. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and maintaining strong communication is also a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair refrigeration systems across the South East, ranging from small ice machines to large process chillers.
* Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring efficient operation of refrigeration systems.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and maintaining strong communication.
Requirements
* 5 years experience in the refrigeration sector.
* Maintenance & Repair skills with preventive maintenance proficiency.
* Strong customer service skills and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
* Level 2 NVQ in Refrigeration (or similar).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Driver’s licence and willingness to travel for on‑site visits.
