Location: Hybrid role based in Windsor, UK, 3 days in the office including Mondays We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Strategist to join the Commercial Operations team at Profitero. As a Senior Data Strategist, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and knowledge of Profitero's offerings to provide specialized support and guidance to clients - Additionally, you will be a key contributor in building systems & processes to address any gaps in Technical Product Knowledge on our NA Customer Success team. Your ability to address complex technical issues and efficiently resolve discrepancies, as well as proactively identify potential challenges and provide preemptive solutions, will be instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Partnering with the VP of Commercial Operations, you will collaborate closely with Account Directors/Managers, acting as a reliable resource for handling technical inquiries and escalations, allowing them to focus on building strong client relationships. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in gathering client feedback, communicating feature requests or enhancements to the product development team, and aligning product development with customer needs. Responsibilities: Expertise and Technical Knowledge: A Senior Data Strategist is someone with deep technical expertise and knowledge of Profitero's offering. They can provide specialized support and guidance to clients, analyzing complex inquiries raised by priority clients related to potential discrepancies/anomalies and ensuring efficient resolution to issues (or just as importantly Non-issues flagged as discrepancies). Seamless Communication and Escalation:Account Directors / Account Managers can rely on the Senior Data Strategist to handle technical inquiries and escalations. This enables Account Managers to focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships, while the Senior Data Strategist takes care of the technical aspects, ensuring efficient communication and issue resolution. Proactive Issue Identification and Troubleshooting: A Senior Data Strategist can proactively identify potential technical challenges and provide preemptive solutions or recommendations to clients. They can assist in troubleshooting issues, perform system analysis, and offer guidance on optimizing the utilization of Profitero's tools and technologies. Collaboration with Product Development: This individual will serve as a vital link between clients and the product development team. They can gather feedback, identify feature requests or enhancements, and communicate them effectively to the appropriate teams & internal stakeholders. This collaboration helps in aligning product development with customer needs and ensuring continuous improvement of Profitero's offerings. Product Training and Education: As a Technical Subject Matter Expert, a Senior Data Strategist must also be well spoken and capable of presenting. They may be required to deliver product training sessions or workshops to clients, ensuring the client has a comprehensive understanding of Profitero's methodology and the full scope of what they actually paid for. They may need to create and deliver customized training materials to Tier 1 Clients, or provide one-on-one training sessions to struggling clients to ensure they can effectively utilize the platform. Qualifications: Technical Application & Data Reporting Expertise: A deep understanding of Profitero's Application, and how to best utilize raw data to extract insights and deliver value to clients. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex datasets. Capable of performing system analysis, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing proactive solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, account managers, and cross-functional teams. Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear instructions and guidance. Client-Focused Approach: Demonstrated experience in understanding client needs, delivering exceptional customer service, and building strong client relationships. Proven ability to prioritize client satisfaction and retention while effectively managing technical inquiries and escalations. Collaboration and Teamwork: Skilled in working collaboratively with internal teams, such as product development, sales, and customer success, to gather feedback, communicate client requirements, and drive continuous improvement of Profitero's offerings. Time Management and Prioritization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client inquiries, technical issues, and projects simultaneously. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Communication of Directionally Accurate Data: Proficient in articulating the value and insights derived from directionally accurate data, even if it is not 100% complete. Able to effectively communicate the implications and limitations of data to stakeholders, ensuring they understand the context and can make informed decisions based on the available information. Cross-functional Collaboration: Possesses an excellent understanding of the company's organizational structure, including departments, roles, and key stakeholders. Familiarity with the dynamics of the organization enables the Senior Data Strategist to navigate internal processes, collaborate with the relevant teams, and align data strategies with organizational goals more effectively.
