The business has been operating successfully for over 25 years, and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate would have experience in key account management, developing existing accounts and securing new business. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand UK sales of the company’s industrial equipment.
Manage and grow key customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the Sales Director and the wider Sales team to align sales strategy with growth targets.
Maintain accurate reporting through the CRM system, ensuring timely updates on pipeline, proposals, and account activity.
Build strong working relationships with OEMs and key account representatives to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Contribute to forecasting and market analysis to inform ongoing business planning.
Attend exhibitions, events and support promotional activities to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development role.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to present solutions that meet customer needs.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate and develop lasting client relationships.
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Full UK driving licence required. Additional Information:
Monday to Friday – 8:45am-4:45pm.
25 days holidays, plus bank holidays.
