Job Description
Our client, a leading international academic publishing company, is seeking a Research Integrity Assistant to work closely with their Publishing Ethics & Integrity team across various STM journals.
Key responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the team to conduct research integrity investigations.
* Verify articles for authorship, content, data, and ethics statements.
* Assist the ethics team in contacting authors and reviewing files requested from them.
* Identify experts to provide advice on specific articles when needed.
* Coordinate with the ethics and editorial teams on post-publication notices.
* Handle confidential information with care, considering legal and ethical implications.
Qualifications
* Research background in a relevant discipline.
* Editorial experience in assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity.
* Strong understanding of research methods and practices.
* Knowledge of global research and publishing ethics issues.
* Familiarity with journal editorial standards.
* Experience in project management.
* Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
