The Harbourne Group is comprised of 2 high-growth companies: Harbourne Associates; which began in 2013, A specialist, permanent headhunting organisation partnering with several Global, market-leading companies across Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, and Exec Search. And HATC; an interim recruitment company set up in 2019 to cater for further areas of our existing Account base. Having already built a great reputation for our commitment to partnering with clients and specialist internal processes, and engaging with top-tier interim talent, we want to take it to the next stage of our business plan. We have already made a number of successful hires ranging from projects placing on-site construction workers to individual placements of high-earning professionals upwards of £1000 per day. We have already been able to make a huge impact on the distinctive staffing demands of our target markets.
Job Description:
We’re now in a position to pursue and secure the future growth of HATC and need an ambitious, self-motivated individual to support the MD in the growth of this subsidiary. We are looking for a determined, can-do attitude with an interest in both business development and entrepreneurship. This will only suit individuals who are genuinely looking for their next career move and are actively looking to work with autonomy to support the growth of a very capable business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development : Well-planned and executed work to develop growth from both our existing customer base and (more importantly) new prospects from within a defined customer segment.
* Candidate Acquisition: Identify, engage with, and develop partnerships with temporary/contract work seekers across various industry sectors.
* Client Engagement: Grasp the unique needs of our clients, create bespoke recruitment strategies, and provide expert guidance on interim hiring solutions.
* Vetting and Selection: Assess candidate qualifications, interview, and place candidates within precise assignments.
* Market Insight: Maintain research into industry dynamics, legal guidelines and changes, salary benchmarks, and competitor landscapes to uphold a competitive edge.
* Marketing: Whilst recruitment is seen to be a sales role, managing social media, website development, an understanding of AI and RPA software, and following key marketing principles will all be a daily requirement.
* Client Relationship Management: Using our internal CRM as a hub for all activity, foster existing client connections and explore fresh avenues for business development.
Qualifications and Skills:
* While prior recruitment experience is advantageous, we welcome individuals with relevant skills or backgrounds in sales-related roles, an interest in HR would be essential.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Self-motivated and target-driven, fuelled by a desire to grow a business.
* Exceptional organisational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks/projects/priorities at once.
* A proactive and tenacious attitude, well-suited to a fast-paced work environment.
