Head Chef - Dining Pub with Rooms
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Head Chef to join the management team of this independent pub group. As Head Chef, you will lead your kitchen team to success by nurturing and developing your junior chefs, while producing fabulous dishes to a high standard using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce.
The Perks
The successful Head Chef can expect:
Basic salary: £40,000
Service charge: £10,000 per year on top + performance related bonus
4-day working week

The Place
Our client is a beautiful dining pub with rooms, ideally located between Chipping Norton and Woodstock. This family-run freehouse is well known for its modern British, seasonal menus changing monthly, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner across bar and dining spaces, as well as a sunny walled garden. Above the pub are six individually designed bedrooms and a high-quality cottage, all finished to an excellent standard.
The Person
The successful Head Chef will have:
Previous experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment
Strong fresh-food background, ideally rosette level
A solid and consistent work history
A genuine passion for seasonal, ingredient-led cooking
The confidence to contribute creatively to menu development
Flexibility with working hours
proven track record of managing a team to success
A full driving licence due to the rural location, even if live-in is taken
