Description Plan and steer Equipment. Arrange imbalance moves in time and to the most cost efficient result. Insert Equipment movements and check/correct movements received by EDI. Check/compare depot inventories and equipment requirements. Communicate with relevant functional internal/external parties. Assign/confirm export positioning depot and send release message to terminal/depot. Assign/confirm import positioning depot and send release message to terminal/depot. Arrange stock feeding/deadheading requests by creating “MT” (empty) bookings. Coordinate repairs of Equipment with M&R. Monitor turnaround times, trace overdue Equipment. Arrange on-hire surveys. Arrange/book off-hires. Input monthly costs into SAP (e.g. storage/gate move costs) in a timely manner. Maintain EPOS quality, error handling, manual reporting and development of EDI interchange. Co-ordinate closely with Sales and Customer Services and all other Operational teams for proactive planning and steering of equipment. Update Port systems.
